Campus
BCHS is located on a 49-acre campus in the growing west side of Bakersfield. The school has been located on the corner of Stockdale Highway and Allen Road since 2003. The campus is still in a development project that will continue to build facilities in the coming years like a Visual and Performing Arts Center, Aquatic Center and Amphitheater, but the current facilities feature highlights such as the Library/Media Center which opened in 2007 and the Sports Center which houses one of the largest high school gymnasiums in Kern County. - Library/Media Center (includes classrooms, a smart lab, an atrium for student gatherings, a learning center and a multifunctional, double classroom/performance area)
- Biology, Chemistry, Computer, Digital Photography and Technology/Smart Labs
- Sports Center/Gymnasium (accommodates three full basketball courts, six practice volleyball courts and three game volleyball courts)
- Football/Soccer field (with stadium seating and track)
- Baseball and Softball fields
- Six Tennis courts

- Wrestling and Weight rooms
- Music room (with four sound-proof practice rooms)
- Art and Animation rooms
