Applications for the 2021-22 school year are being accepted. To get started, click on the button below. 

If you are interested in transferring your student for the current 2020-21 school year, please contact the admissions office at 661-410-7000.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Once the Application and supporting documents have been submitted, contact the Admissions Office to schedule an Interview. 

  • Interviews are for the applicant and their parent(s)/guardian(s).
  • Interviews are generally scheduled Monday through Friday after school.


PLACEMENT TEST

Placement Tests are used to determine the appropriate class levels for incoming students.

  • Click here to sign up to take the BCHS Math Placement Test.
  • If your junior high school offers a placement test on its campus, we expect students to take the placement test at their school.
  • Placement Test Waiver: If your student’s 7th or 8th grade standardized test report indicates a math score at or above the 80th percentile and they are also earning a B or better in pre-algebra or Algebra 1, they may be placed into Algebra 1. If the report indicates a math score at or above the 90th percentile and they are earning a B or better in Algebra 1, they will be placed into Geometry. Placement will rely on test scores as well as teacher recommendations.
  • Placement Tests will be administered starting in March 2021.

 

 

Student Profile

Below are some characteristics of the type of student who attends BCHS.

 

Students interested in attending BCHS must meet the prerequisites for enrollment listed below:

  • Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ or be open to learning about Christianity.
  • Meet the Student Profile
  • Be willing to support the BCHS Statement of Faith
  • Be willing to comply with the school’s policies (please review our Student-Parent Handbook)
  • Maintained satisfactory citizenship records in the school they previously attended
  • Achieved a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Scored satisfactory on any approved Standardized Test (i.e. CAASPP, IOWA, TerraNova, etc.)

Note: BCHS does not typically accept students who have been expelled from another school.
