One distinctive of BCHS is the opportunity for dual enrollment. Students can meet high school graduation requirements while earning college credits with concurrent enrollment at Concordia University – Irvine (CUI).

BCHS formalized a partnership with CUI in the fall of 2013 that was named by the two schools, Eagle University. The first course, Introduction to Philosophy, was launched the following spring. In order to teach an Eagle University course, BCHS teachers were interviewed and accepted as adjunct professors of CUI. BCHS currently offers four Eagle University courses and has two members of its faculty who are also adjunct professors of CUI. As an additional feature to these college classes, professors from CUI will come to BCHS campus for lectures and similarly, BCHS teachers and adjunct professors will lecture at CUI on occasion.

As interest in this opportunity for dual enrollment grows, BCHS will continue to expand its Eagle University course offerings. Each of the courses can be transferred to the college of the student's choice.

Students interested in taking an Eagle University course must review and complete the Eagle University Agreement form.
