Kern County Fair gives Ag students a platform to show quality of program

For two weeks the BCHS FFA members balanced school while also showing their animals, flowers, crops and plants at the Kern County Fair. All the hard work and dedication was rewarded with nine different students across a dozen categories receiving top honors from Grand Champion to Champion Showman.
A list of these top awards and recipients from the Kern County Fair is below by category:

Horse Show

  • Rylee Henry — Overall High Point Individual Western Speed Riding, 1st place Speed Barrels, 1st place Clover Leaf Barrels, 1st place Pole Bending and 1st place Reigning
